Strawberry Banana Pudding

I'd decided to make my banana pudding and had some strawberries to use up. So I added a layer fresh sliced strawberries with the banana layer. Turned out great and everyone in the family loved the added flavor.


1 large pkg vanilla pudding
3 c 1% milk
1 tub Cool Whip Light
3 med. bananas
1/2 1b fresh strawberries
1 box vanilla wafers

Make vanilla pudding as directed on the box.
Mix in tub of cool whip.
Slice up strawberries and bananas.
Layer bowl with wafers, pudding mixture, and fruit.
Refrigerate.

Symphony Bar Pie

Quick and easy, just how I like it. This pie is a hit wherever I take it.

1 Giant Symphony Bar (with almonds and toffee)
1 Tub Cool Whip Light
1 Graham cracker crust

Melt Symphony chocolate bar in the microwave. (How to melt chocolate)
Stir in half of the cool whip tub.
Pour into graham cracker crust and spread even.
Spread the remaining cool whip over the chocolate mixture.
Refrigerate.


I take a tooth pick, dip it into any leftover melted chocolate, and swirl it into the top of the cool whip.

My 4yr old loves playing games on the computer, but I need and want my computer throughout the day. I searched for xbox 360 games for pre-school and found these links.

Wii has sooo many pre-school games. Which is great, if we had a wii. Seriously xbox needs to get with it.

The special thing from the store

My daughter who is three, was going on and on last night about wanting that special thing we bought at the grocery store. "What thing?" I said, "That special thing.", "The animal cookies?", "no the special thing from the store!".
Then she pulled a dinning room chair up to the kitchen cabinets and just stands in the chair looking around the cabinets for whatever that special thing is that we bought.
This morning we figure out it's Pop tarts she wanted. Since we rarely buy Pop tarts, she didn't know what they were called. She just knew they were special.
